Cage Free Dog Boarding
Dogs prefer real homes and outdoor play yards over kennels or warehouses. By their very nature, they require socialization with
other dogs and with people, not solitary confinement.
The “Doggy Cottage” is located on 33 acres in “Dragonfly Pet Village” your doggy friend will be provided with hands on
supervision and care, a home-like atmosphere with HDTV, radio, windows throughout, futons, doggy pool, yard, dog beds,
blankets, hammock beds, and Snugglers to sleep comfortably at night.
Caretakers will supervise care for and give affection to the dogs throughout their stay with plenty of exercise playing with other
dogs, running in the grass yard, and fetching the ball.
Caretakers will be recording on report cards daily, letting you know how your dog did while staying with us. When nightfalls your
dog will have the freedom to choose to sleep in a dog house, on a dog bed, curled up on blankets, or curled up with a group
of doggy friends (a favorite choice amongst most dogs.)
The Dragonfly Exotic Boarding Park is just under 33 acres of Puppy Playground Heaven, featuring large grassy areas for fetch,
lots of wildlife to chase, 2 pools for swimming or wading, sand mounds for king of the mountain and agility equipment to play
on, all of which is completely enclosed with a 5 1/2ft anti-jump fence.
Our Dog Boarding ranch features a spacious indoor, fan cooled run which can accommodate multiple dogs, as well as 3 outdoor
exercise arenas allowing us to break the day up with regular visits to the outside areas for potty and play no matter what the
weather condition. Crate training at home? We have found that having a different routine overnight here will not set back your
crate training efforts at home, we do, however, have sleep dens available upon owner request.
We want your dogs tired for their overnight stay, so drop-off early so they get lots of play in with their friends before their first
night!
The cottage is thoroughly washed and disinfected twice a day with pet friendly detergents, keeping our friends in a clean,
sanitary environment.
Pets like to be pampered too, we offer a wide array of resort-style commodities during their visit.
Our Style of Dog Boarding is designed to provide your pet with a totally “enriched” boarding experience, which we accomplish
by giving pets the things they need most: behavioral choices, exercise, socialization, and the absence of stress.
Our caretakers monitor each dog closely to make sure that all dogs are in a stress-free environment.
The dogs are rotated through several fun yards during the day, and they sleep slumber-party-style in a real home like
atmosphere with a bunch of new friends at night. And they are never locked up or left alone… that’s right, there are no doggy kennel/crates here.

Feeding
All home brought foods must be packed into airtight containers and labeled with pet’s first and last name as well as the date.
Ziploc bags, tupperwares, etc, are fine. Foods that must be kept refrigerated or frozen are acceptable.
You are not required to separate food into individual portions. Sometimes that is just not practical, but when it is, we
appreciate it.

We prefer that you bring the food that your dog is used to eating so that your pet remains on his or her familiar

diet. This helps to prevent stomach irritation that can result when changing the brands of food. If you feel that

your dog will be fine with a brand switch and do not bring your own food we will feed your dog top quality adult or
-
puppy dry food. This is a carefully selected all natural premium dog food. The dogs are fed separately as many times per day as owners request. We fill out report cards each time we feed your dog for feedback and accuracy.
Additional Information
The following foods and treats will not be accepted: rawhides, greenies, cooked bones that are not soft, or any other foods
known to be toxic to canines.
Main feeding times are at 6am, 12pm, and 6pm. Your dog is not required to be fed at all meals.
Free-fed dogs will be offered food at all three mealtimes. If your dog needs to be fed at a different time, just let a caretaker
know. All dogs are fed individually and at their comfort level. Most of our friends are crate trained and feel more comfortable
eating in a crate, but for those who are not, they are fed separately in a food den with a human near by to keep them
company.
CAGE-FREE BOARDING F.A.Q’s
Q: What happens at night?
A: Caretaker stay on a cot in the cottage with the dogs. Some dogs cuddle up to the caretaker on the cot, others sleep on the futons
and dog beds or in a open crate. Everyone has a cozy blanket to stay warm. Our overnight supervising Vet Tech lives on-site and is
there every night monitoring the dogs for possible health issues, and just encouraging rest.
They usually watch TV for a while before bedtime, get taken out before going to sleep around 10-11pm and as soon as they wake
up around 6-7am. If someone gets up in the night and asks to go out, they will be taken out for a quick potty.
Q: Can I request that my dog be crated at night and during nap-time to maintain his crate training?
A: Yes, just let us know when you drop them off and we will crate them as requested. We will not crate your dog, unless we have specialinstructions to do so.
Q: Can I bring my dog's bed, toys, and treats?
A: Yes, but please understand that all other dogs will have possible access to those belongings, therefore we can not guarantee that
youwill get them back. Beds, toys, and treats are provided, so we prefer that your dog use what we provide.
However, it is important that you do bring with you to make your dog’s stay less stressful: An old T-shirt with your ‘scent' on it, grab one
of your old shirts from the dirty laundry (I know it sounds gross but believe me your dog will relish in it, it smells like you and this
is comforting for them) or you can sleep in a clean T-shirt for a few days to get it smelling like you. Home scents are very soothing
for dogs. Any special foods, we provide high quality food for all of our dogs, but if your pet is on a special diet, you should bring it with
you.
REQUIREMENTS
Evaluations are conducted prior to boarding your dog. This is the screening process we complete to check all dogs for behavior and social skills
before accepting them. This is to ensure your dog's safety. You must call to make an appointment for you dog's evaluation. During the evaluation we will introduce your dog to others to make sure they will get along well with the other dogs, at this time you can also view our ranch and fill
out forms to get your dog ready for their stay with us.
Daily rates per dog offer the following inclusions:
· We feed quality food to all dogs that is specifically formulated to your dog's size and age
· Fresh spring water is changed regularly and bowls are sanitized daily
· Special dietary requirements as directed by you, the owner, are followed
· Medication administered, where required and requested attract an additional $2.50* per day fee
