Rabbit & Guinea Pig Grooming
Bunnies need to be groomed too!
It is very important for their health.
when we groom your bunny it can take about an hour for a regular rabbit.
(Angora's and long-hairs require a little more time...sometimes 3-8 hours)
A grooming includes brushing and combing your bunny. It also includes trimming some dirty fur and checking the cuticles and trimming all 18 of bunnies nails and filing them so there are no sharp edges, and cleaning out the scent glands. We check the ears and teeth as well.
If you have a bunny with maloccluded teeth, (incisors only), we will help you understand the problems having to do with that, and if the issue is minor, can trim and file front teeth. (There is a separate $15 fee for filing teeth.)

Guinea Pig Grooming
Guinea pigs seldom "need" baths and some are never bathed. But if they do require one, Dragonfly Grooming offers a grooming service for the Pampered Guinea Pig or those that are simply a bit too feisty for their owners to handle. If your Guinea pig is extremely itchy, is shedding more than normal, or has a lot of dandruff, a parasite or fungal infection are the most likely causes. Mange mites or fungus could be the problem it is important to promptly treat these conditions.
