Courteous Cat Manners

Though cats are thought of as solitary lazy animals, cats are in fact very social and active under the right circumstances. Many cats get along
well in groups, and outdoor cats have been known to form stable colonies.
All cats can be trained with some level of basic manners, cats are highly intelligent companions capable of learning at the same level as a dog.
Courteous Cat manners has important benefits, it will not only stimulate your cats mind and body it will keep him healthy.
When your cat behaves the way you want him to, it allows you to enjoy spending time together this means you’re strengthening the bond you
share. Along with training your cat to behave in a courteous manner with behaviors like sit, stay and to come when called we will teach him fun
tricks like wave and fetch.
Courteous Cat manners class sessions are six-weeks in length, and we only use force free training methods for your cat, all training sessions
are short and fun 15 minutes per day for kittens and 30 minutes for adult cats, as learning becomes more proficiant training session minutes increase. Cat manners Classes start at 3 months old and of course we also take adult cats too.
We will focus on manners like sit, down, stay (sit and down), "come" training your pet to respond to their name, with 15 minute classes per day
your kitty should be using courteous manners within six weeks.

ADULT CATS 30 MINUTES
We use treats, verbal praise and affection to encourage desired behaviors in all our cats, and gradually back off the treatsand use
them only intermittently, once the cat has learned a new manner, treats will no longer be necessary.
But cats are always rewarded with verbal praise whenever they use the proper manners.
Reward-based training helps create a range of desirable behaviors in pets, which builds mutual feelings of trust and confidence.

Cats are cared for understanding each ones personalities and habits.
Holiday Hours
We are closed every SATURDAY and Major Holidays, there are no tours on Saturday or Holidays.

Grooming & Hygienic Shampoo
After a day of lots of fun and training, we’ll send your pet home looking their best and smelling fresh, we offer a selection of grooming and
bathing services through our grooming salon and can schedule an appointment for you before your pet’s departure.
Vaccinations: All cats must have current FVRCP and Rabies vaccines no less than 10 days or more than three years from the date of check in.
We require kittens to have completed a series of three vaccines before boarding. Adult cats should be vaccinated at one year of age and
thereafter every three years. Please provide proof of vaccine, which may be e-mailed to: dragonflyboarding@gmail.com
Elderly cats with adequate vaccine history may be boarded with a letter from their veterinarian excusing any additional vaccines.
The essential vaccinations for your pet are as follows:
Rabies, 1 or 3 year
FVRCP, 1 or 3 year
FeLV not required
Additionally, we require that you maintain a year-round treatment for ticks and fleas in order to protect our training arenas from any
contamination and thus protect all of the pets. We recommend topical solutions such as Advantage and Frontline.
These products are available over the counter or from your veterinarian. We do not suggest collar prevention methods.
Please talk to your veterinarian about your options and frequency of treatment. Pets with unwanted additional pests will be treated and fees
charged to the owner.
Because the facility is our home, we do ask that you adhere to our business hours and respect our privacy. We appreciate and require our time
off also.
