Maintaining healthy skin and nails is simply a normal part of owning a pet reptile, we offer a full reptile grooming
service. Our trained reptile and amphibian groomers know how to restore your reptile to their best appearance, takingcare of those maintenance issues you may not be able to take care of yourself, your reptiles will look their absolute
best following one of our grooming sessions.
Our reptile grooming services for lizards include claw trims and conditioning spray baths which help to naturally
soften the skin between and during shedding. For snakes a conditioning soak bath will help to naturally soften the skin and restore natural appearance. For turtles claw and beak trim and scoot conditioning buff will give the shell a clean shiny appearance to bring out the shells natural beauty.
Pet lizards, snakes and turtles are always welcome. Our claw and skin maintenance services are performed with gentlecare.

As they grow, snakes naturally shed layers of skin, and it’s perfectly normal for them to shed in pieces at a time. Your pet’s skin will become an overall dull color before a shed. Do not peel off the skin if it is not ready to come off,

TURTLE CLAW & BEAK TRIM
In captivity, turtles don't walk enough and eat enough rough foods to keep their toe nails and beaks trimmed. When your turtle's toe nails get long or the beak gets too much of an overbite it is time for some grooming.
Unlike snakes & lizards, turtles shed their shells in patches. Your pet’s shell will become an overall dull color
before a shed. Do not peel off the loose scoots if it is not ready to come off, this can be dangerous and painful.
Our conditioning spray bath is safe, a non-toxic misting conditioner with nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin E,
and aloe is applied to the scoots and then the shell is buffed to a light shine after a complete shedding.
This moisturizer can help to maintain skin condition in general, and can help to safely and gently loosen shedding
scoots.

Snakes/Lizards/turtles: In order for your snake, turtle or lizard to board with us, we require a licensed veterinarian
exam within the last year with a clean bill of health, a fecal test with no parasites seen is also required, your snake,
lizard, turtle can have no changes in health since the last examination.
Amphibians

• One time fecal exam, then as required based on medical history*
Toads/Water Lizards/Frogs: In order for your toad, water lizard, frog to board with us, we require a licensed
veterinarian exam within the last year with a clean bill of health, a fecal test with no parasites seen is also required, your toad, water lizard, frog can have no changes in health since the last examination.
