Pocket Pets

Do you worry about your small pet when you're away?
If so, then you have found the right place, we are gentle and kind in giving your small friend the care and attention they deserve, we are here to
provide boarding and loving care for your small animal friend so that you can relax while your pet enjoy their time. Our aim is to provide a happy and stress free stay for your pet in a calm, caring environment.
Accommodations
Your pet will be housed indoors in our spectacular “Fuzzy Butts Cottage”. This cottage is kept cool in summer but snug in winter. For all our fuzzy
butt nocturnal friends this environment is kept quiet to enjoy their daytime naps without any disturbances.
Fuzzy Butts are housed in individual custom created cages, these are safe, secure and roomy with hidey-holes for the shy and retiring. Your pet
will arrive to find it's home fresh, clean, ready and waiting for it with plenty of soft, warm bedding and somewhere for it to hide away to feel safe ifit's feeling a bit shy. Fuzzy Butts will be continually monitored throughout their stay, we know how important it is to observe small animals for any subtle changes in behavior that could indicate any distress.
Playtime and activitie time is set aside each day for one-on-one interaction with our caretakers for cuddles and lots of fun for all, including a
leg-stretch and a roam within the cottage for those with a desire to explore. Each pet has the opportunity for a free-range exercise-ball to run
around within the cottage. We provide cardboard box mazes, tubes, exercise-balls and hiding places to make life more interesting.

bones and teeth). A well-rodent vitamin supplement is added to their feed.

crops such as carrot, turnip and swede are good and filling. Occasionally a bowl of bread soaked in mice milk provides
a welcome change being a good source of vitamin B and calcium. A well-rodent vitamin supplement is added to their feed.

ingredients, like alfalfa, yucca extract, timothy hay, and rose hips which is low in fat and high in protein and fiber to keep peak
condition. This is augmented with a supply of fresh hay to provide essential roughage. Chewing on pieces of untreated, wooden bfacilityes and pumice cubes is something they love to gnaw and helps to keep their teeth nice and short. Supplemented with
fresh water daily.
Flying Squirrels/Sugar Gliders: We offer a variety of nuts, seeds, fruits and both dry and moist foods like Mazuri and
Insect Eater Diets such as mealworms, hornworms, silkworms. A variety of fresh veggies and the occasional treat of hard boiled
egg adds a bit of protein to their diet, a supplement of calcium cuttlebone and vitamin D3 is provided in the cage with water in
a shallow open bowl.
Ferrets: These carnivores require regular high levels of dietary protein and fat to develop strong muscles, healthy bones and
to prevent illness with a negligible need for carbohydrate and fiber. We provide a complete dried food that contains all the
nutritional requirements your ferret needs. Ferrets are fed throughout the day eating small frequent meals, this is due to the
fact that they have an extremely short digestive tract and food passes through within 3-4 hours.
In every ferret cage is two no-drip water bottles, under each water bottle we keep another bowl with water
to catch the drips so the cage blankets stay dry.
